DNA Clinic

Following a global six-way tender process US-based healthcare company, DNA Health Corp, has awarded the multi-million dirham design and fitout contract of its 10’000 square feet global flagship integrative medicine & wellness centre  to Swiss Bureau Interior Desig LLC. “Not only were Swiss Bureau consistently superior across the board on all functional aspects, they were also the most competitive bid and impressed our board members with their creative and innovative approach to realising the DNA vision.”(quote DNA)

The projects had to be delivered in a very short of time respecting all regulations including health care authorithy that demands a lot of attentions to the details following strict methods.

The level of complexity of this project was very high but offered also a a lot of creativity in the design. The brief provided by DNA Healthcorp was create a natural and harmonious interior for DNA to reflect its holistic and innovative approach to family health care in the 21st century. Swiss Bureau designed a transformative space within which guests are welcomed to seek healing and rejuvenation. Swiss Bureau team leapt at the chance to imagine a space beyond conventional interior design for the healthcare industry.

 The Intergrative Wellness main concept design is offering organic shapes and feelings through the whole architecture. “Reflecting the organic curves of nature was paramount to our team, and we have managed to ensure there is a surprise at every turn within the centre. Treatment rooms are equipped with high-technology but softened with bamboo and natural blond wood to create a sense of harmony, and our aim was for guests to feel enveloped in serenity while receiving unparalleled care.

Every space, every corner has been designed carefully in order to suprise the visitor everywhere he walks within the center and transmetting him a sensation of serenity and calm. The nature is constantly present within the clinic with natural plants, wallpapers specially designed for DNA Clinic, and water. Swiss bureau has researched for the most innovative equipments and we found Acquabox^TM  that is a unique convergence between art, design and wellness. Acquabox^TM  comes as an answer to the growing demand for physical and psychological restoration. It is a new source of energy in a unrequited and stressful world.

The Acquabox is a transparent spa, where you are totally immerged, in zero gravity, breathing with a regulator. The air flow is ensured by a compressor. From the inside, the transparent walls disappear and you see everything around you. You feel free, with the sensation to float around, just like an astronaut.

The  water is filtered and can be heated at the exact desired temperature. You can listen to music and watch movies in zero gravity. This is the first aqcaubox that has been installed in Middle East. Tropical plants are used  inside the Wellness clinic to enhance air quality. We have tried to have min environmental impact. Lastly, living walls are useful passive measure and can be used indoors. Having plants in the built environment also creates a symbolic link to nature, reminding us of our connection with  and enjoyment of the natural world.

It was vital for us to bring the tranquility and fluidity of nature into the very heart of the centre. We employed the very latest techniques in interior design to incorporate a stunningly visual vertical garden as part of the reception and welcome area, with engaging water features to soothe all the senses as guests arrive for their treatments. Our creative juices really started flowing this was truly a dream project for us, and we are looking forward to continuing our collaborative partnership with DNA Health Corp as the company expands regionally and globally.”
