Re/Think, an accounting firm in Dubai, wanted to demonstrate to its clients the various ways they’ve reimagined auditing and accounting services by offering personalized, creative solutions cleverly integrated into their office. Inspired by the client’s appreciation for excellent wines, upon entering the space, visitors are immediately intrigued by a playful installation of transparent glass with wine corks found bout on the floor and within the reception counter. This unique reception design intends to further engage the curiosity of its guests using a variety of interesting patterns and materials.
Beginning the journey from the reception and traveling down the corridors, Bolon flooring is used and strategically placed to form varying angles, creating an illusion of something completely different. As the meeting rooms are opposite and far from the entrance, we created a more inviting environment within the hallway using playful lighting to create illusive curves within the narrow space. The undulating curved illusions guide you down the remainder of the area. The corridors are framed on either side with concrete and wooden walls, further housing hidden rooms throughout, disguised as bookshelves. Similar materials continue into the meeting rooms where we see fully cladded parquet walls and customized concrete lights hanging from the ceiling. The furniture was carefully selected, providing a subtle contrast to its interiors.
The rest of the office is composed of a series of cabins designated fro managers and allows a spirited rhythm of vertical panels laid in varying angles, acting as dividers and also providing a naturally lit environment with privacy. Open spaces displayed various opportunities to engage in creative ceiling designs for these multifunctional areas, breaking the monotony within the space while creating an innovation solution that leaves guests with a dynamic experience.
